How will you know when your Quooker Tap Filter needs changed? Depending on the age of your Quooker Tap, it will indicate normally every 6 months to make you aware that it needs changed, The recommendation by most companies is to change and sanitise your cold water system every six months in a commercial environment, however in a residential dwelling where most Quooker taps are installed we recommend changing every 12 months, unfortunately this means though that your Quooker Tap will beep after 6 months as it believes it is needing a filter change. The light on the tap should now come on solid. Wait about 10-15 minutes until the light goes off - the water will now be up to temperature again and ready for use. If the light is still flashing, please try a long reset; switch the Quooker off on top of the tank and then open the tap and run the water for about 3 minutes to replenish all the water in the tank. Leave the tank switched off for another 15 minutes, then switch it on again. The light on the tap should come on solid and after about 10-15 minutes the light should go off and the tap will be ready for use again.
