Installation Requirements
Heatrae Sadia boiling tap systems require a switched fused spur (13A), a cold mains water connection and sufficient under-sink clearance for the tank unit. A pressure reducing valve is recommended if mains pressure exceeds 3 bar.
Common Faults
Check the unit is powered and switched on. Allow 20 minutes from cold. If still no boiling water, the heating element may need replacement.
Worn valve washer or O-ring. A standard maintenance repair. Contact us for a service visit.
Normal during first heat-up. Persistent discharge indicates overpressure — check incoming water pressure and fit a PRV if required.
Maintenance
Annual servicing is recommended including filter replacement, descale and safety inspection. Heatrae Sadia units have a large installed base across the UK and spares are widely available.
