Billi Filter Change

Billi filters should be replaced every 6-12 months depending on usage and local water quality. The system will indicate filter life via the tap display or indicator light.

  1. Locate the filter housing in the under-sink unit
  2. Turn off the cold mains isolation valve
  3. Twist the filter housing anticlockwise to release
  4. Remove and discard the old filter cartridge
  5. Insert the new filter and refit the housing clockwise
  6. Turn water back on and check for leaks
  7. Reset the filter indicator on the tap display
  8. Flush 2 litres before use

Billi Common Faults

F (Filter indicator)

Filter replacement due. Change filter as soon as possible to maintain water quality.

No boiling water

Check unit has power and allow 15 minutes from cold. Check the boiling temperature setting has not been inadvertently changed via the control panel.

Unit not cooling

Check chilled temperature setting. Ensure ventilation around the unit is not blocked — Billi units require adequate airflow for the refrigeration system.

Water taste/odour

Replace the filter immediately. If problem persists after filter change, the tank may require sanitisation.

Billi Maintenance Schedule

Billi recommends annual servicing by an authorised engineer including filter replacement, sanitisation, performance check and refrigeration system inspection on chilled models.
