Common Faults
Check unit is powered. On Autotap units, check water level. On Speedflow units, check mains water supply is connected and isolation valve is open.
Usually indicates the unit has reached maximum temperature. Allow to cool slightly. Persistent flashing may indicate a thermostat fault.
Internal tank or valve leak. Switch off power immediately and contact an engineer.
Maintenance
Hyco units should be descaled annually. Autotap units can be descaled by the user following the manufacturer's instructions. Plumbed Speedflow and Quantum units should be serviced by a qualified engineer.
