Grohe Red Filter Change
The Grohe Red uses a carbon block filter which should be changed annually or every 3,000 litres. The tap display will show a filter change reminder when due.
- Turn off cold water supply and power to the unit
- Place a towel under the filter housing
- Unscrew the filter housing anticlockwise
- Remove old filter and insert new Grohe Red filter
- Refit housing and restore power and water supply
- Reset filter counter by holding the activation button for 10 seconds
Common Faults
Filter change reminder. Replace filter and reset counter.
Check child safety lock is disengaged (requires push and rotate action). Check tank has power.
CO2 cylinder empty. Grohe Blue uses standard carbonation cylinders available from Grohe dealers.
Maintenance
Annual filter change and descale service recommended. In very hard water areas, a 6-monthly descale will prolong tank life significantly.
